We had an excellent time and birds were everywhere. All the
information was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was
excellent and hats off to Jerry at the campground. This was and is
one placed I would love to hunt time and time again and maybe bring my
family as an outing. My wife and kids loved the bird and we can't
wait to get it mounted for our living room.
These pictures were taken on the harvest site in the Black Hills.

Just a quick note to let you know that we had a great time on our hunt! Didn’t limit out but we sure had fun chasing those birds. Seemed like most birds were working private land and they knew exactly where it was. One of our guys had some success across from camp (he was very happy). Jerry and Cindy were more than cordial hosts. They are some great people. I would have to say that overall it was a great experience and we learned quite a bit about those turkeys. They are a little different than the eastern birds we have around here. Thanks again for everything and keep us posted on events for next season as we are discussing another trip next year. Thanks again for a great hunt, for your awesome and warm hospitality, and for taking the time to show us where to get on the birds. We are already talking about a trip next year and since some of the guys did not pound ‘em in South Dakota, I think the chances are good that we will be giving you and G-man a call.

May 5-9 (1 for 1 birds harvested) We had a really good time on our trip. We saw and chased turkeys everyday. Thanks for showing us where to go. I had a chance at a really good bird on Wednesday. He had seven hens with him. We watched and called him for about an hour and was able to get him (and the hens) within 20 yards. A hen made me as I was going up with my gun and everything went south after that. I did get a couple shots off but I don't think I touched him. Friday morning we chased 2 birds-one was gobbling really good. I managed to get him but as it turned out he was a young bird but at that late date I was glad to get him. Hope to come back again one day. Thanks again for helping us out. The room, food, scenery, and hunting was great. Sincerely, Charles and Teresa |

May 9-11 (2 for 3 birds harvested) Since you didn't get any pictures last year of Rex and his bird the picture attachment are of Dennis and Rex with their birds from this year. Enjoyed the time there again this year and look forward to coming back for another shot at it again. Maybe the next time I can park myself in the right spot to get one of those beautiful birds.
